The sessions

The sessions are held within a psychotherapeutic framework. 
This framework can help you understand the roots of emotional distress through careful exploration of thoughts and feelings in a safe place. 

How it works

The therapist and client form an alliance with the objective of treating the issues in question. The client decides the direction to take. Often this involves looking back in time to discover the roots of emotional distress. In addition to traditional 'talk therapy' I have a set of creative tools that can assist the process of exploration. These are; visual arts, drama, the Tarot, mask work, music, movement, dance and creative writing. These creative tools provide a safe place for expression and can serve as a vehicle for transformation. For more information on art as medicine you can have a look at the video to your right.
